Frederick to sponsor jazz festival

Frederick Supermarket of Cars has agreed to sponsor the third annual CLA Eighth Street Jazz Festival on Sept. 22.

"Fred Laurenzo and his team of automotive professionals stepped up big time for CLA," Community of Lebanon Association President Diana Hartman said in a news release. "This sponsorship commitment is the largest single event commitment in the history of CLA. We are thankful to Frederick's for this show of faith in our wonderful community of Lebanon."

Festival Chairman Greg Bracale said a fundraiser and reception for the festival will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lebanon Picture Frame and Fine Art Gallery on the top floor of the Lebanon Farmers Market, 35 S. Eighth St.

Food, refreshments and jazz music provided by the Jay Umble Trio are planned. Frederick will present its sponsorship check during the reception.
